At AightLab, we believe privacy should be explained clearly and honestly. This Privacy Policy explains how AightLab (“AightLab”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, protects, stores, and otherwise processes information when you visit aightlab.com, create or use an AightLab account, purchase a product, subscribe to a service, download or use an AightLab application, use an AightLab SaaS or online service, use an AightLab AI-powered feature, or otherwise interact with AightLab.
AightLab is an India-based technology business registered under the Udyam Registration system and operates from Karnataka, India. Our services may include desktop applications, mobile applications, web applications, SaaS products, online services, AI-powered tools, digital products, one-time purchases, monthly subscriptions, leaderboard or ranking features, and other technology services introduced by AightLab from time to time.
By accessing or using AightLab, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Where applicable, your use of an AightLab service may also be governed by our Terms & Conditions, which should be read together with this Privacy Policy.
1. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by AightLab through its website, applications, software, online services, account systems, customer-support channels, and other services operated by or on behalf of AightLab.
It applies whether you access AightLab through a desktop computer, laptop, mobile phone, tablet, browser, installed application, or another supported device.
This Privacy Policy does not automatically apply to independent third-party websites, applications, payment providers, application stores, or other services that may be linked to or integrated with AightLab. Those services may have their own privacy policies and terms, and you should review them separately where applicable.
2. Information We Collect
The information AightLab collects depends on the product or service you use and how you interact with our platform. We aim to collect information that is reasonably necessary to create and maintain your account, provide the requested service, process transactions, maintain security, provide support, comply with legal obligations, and operate and improve AightLab.
When you create or maintain an AightLab account, we may collect information such as your name, username, email address where required, password-related authentication information, account status, subscription information, account settings, account creation date, and other information reasonably necessary to operate your account.
When you purchase a product or subscription, we may collect transaction-related information such as the product or plan purchased, purchase date, amount, currency, transaction reference, payment status, subscription status, refund status, and other information necessary to administer the transaction.
When you contact AightLab, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, account details, email address, details of your issue, transaction information, technical information, or other information reasonably necessary to investigate and respond to your request.
3. Account and Login Information
AightLab processes account and authentication information in order to provide secure access to its services.
This may include your username, password-related authentication information, login timestamps, logout events, session information, password-reset activity, failed login attempts, security events, and other information necessary to authenticate users and protect accounts.
Your password is intended to be protected using appropriate security measures and is not intended to be available to AightLab personnel as ordinary readable text. You should never send your password, one-time authentication code, recovery credential, or other security credential to AightLab through ordinary support communications.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to your account.
4. Device and Technical Information
When you use AightLab, certain technical information may be automatically generated or collected by our systems or by technologies used to operate the relevant service.
Depending on the product and technical environment, this may include your IP address, device type, operating system and version, browser type and version, application version, language or regional settings, time zone, login date and time, device-related identifiers, session information, crash information, error information, performance information, and security-related technical data.
We may use this information to provide the service, maintain compatibility, identify and resolve technical problems, improve performance, detect suspicious activity, prevent abuse, investigate security incidents, and maintain the reliability of AightLab.
5. Information About Your Use of AightLab
Depending on the service, AightLab may collect limited information about how you interact with the platform or application.
This may include information such as features accessed, application activity, product activation, download or access status, subscription status, account activity, technical errors, performance information, and security-related events.
The exact information collected may vary between AightLab products. We do not intend to collect information merely because it can technically be collected. Information should be processed where reasonably necessary for operating, securing, supporting, administering, improving, or otherwise legitimately providing the applicable AightLab service.
6. Information You Upload or Store
AightLab does not generally provide users with a general-purpose facility for uploading arbitrary personal files, documents, photographs, databases, or other unrelated information.
You should not attempt to upload confidential information, sensitive personal information, credentials belonging to another person, illegal material, malware, viruses, or other content into an AightLab feature unless the applicable AightLab product expressly provides such functionality and its terms permit that use.
If AightLab introduces a future product that allows users to upload, store, process, or manage files or other user-provided information, the relevant product may have additional privacy notices, product terms, or functionality-specific disclosures explaining how that information is handled.
7. Payment and Transaction Information
When you purchase an AightLab product or subscription, transaction information may be processed in order to confirm and administer the purchase.
Depending on the transaction, this information may include the product or service purchased, subscription plan, transaction reference, amount paid, currency, purchase date, payment status, refund status, billing-related information, and other information necessary to process or verify the transaction.
Where a third-party payment provider processes the payment, payment information may be collected and processed directly by that provider under its own privacy policy and terms. AightLab does not intend to store complete payment-card details, such as your full card number or card security code, on its own systems unless a particular payment architecture expressly requires otherwise.
8. How AightLab Uses Information
AightLab may use information to create and maintain accounts, authenticate users, provide purchased products and subscriptions, deliver software and online services, activate licences, provide application functionality, provide customer support, process payments and refunds, send account-related communications, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, investigate technical issues, fix bugs, improve product performance, develop new features, maintain service reliability, comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, property, and security of AightLab, our users, and others.
Where information is processed for a particular purpose, AightLab will seek to use it in a manner reasonably connected with that purpose and applicable legal requirements.
9. AI-Powered Features
Some AightLab products may include artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, automated processing, or related technologies.
Where an AightLab AI feature processes information submitted through that feature, the information may be processed to provide the requested output, operate the applicable functionality, maintain service security, detect abuse, investigate technical problems, and, where permitted and appropriate, improve the reliability or performance of the relevant service.
AightLab does not guarantee that AI-generated output will always be accurate, complete, current, unique, or suitable for your particular purpose. Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated output before relying upon it, especially where the information may affect important business, legal, financial, medical, employment, educational, or other consequential decisions.
Users should not submit confidential or highly sensitive information to an AI feature unless the applicable AightLab product expressly states that such information may be submitted and provides the relevant privacy information for that feature.
AightLab may use third-party AI infrastructure or technology providers to provide certain AI functionality. Where such providers are used, applicable information may be processed by those providers only to the extent reasonably necessary for the relevant service and subject to applicable legal and contractual requirements.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
AightLab may use cookies, local storage, session storage, authentication tokens, and other similar technologies to operate and secure its website and online services.
These technologies may be used to maintain login sessions, authenticate users, protect against unauthorised activity, remember certain preferences, support website functionality, understand technical performance, and, where applicable, measure service usage or analytics.
The actual cookies and similar technologies used by AightLab may change as our website and services develop. For more detailed information about these technologies and how they may be managed, please see our separate Cookie Policy.
11. Security and Fraud Prevention
AightLab may process account, technical, transaction, device, and usage information to detect and prevent fraud, account sharing, licence abuse, suspicious activity, automated attacks, unauthorised access, payment abuse, security threats, and other misuse of our systems.
This may involve analysing login activity, device-related information, IP addresses, application events, transaction information, security logs, and other information reasonably necessary to protect AightLab and its users.
AightLab may temporarily restrict, investigate, or suspend an account or transaction where there are reasonable grounds to believe that fraud, abuse, unauthorised access, or another security issue may be occurring.
12. How We Share Information
AightLab does not sell your personal information simply as a commercial product.
We may, however, share or permit access to information where reasonably necessary to operate AightLab and provide its services. This may include carefully selected service providers and technology partners involved in payment processing, hosting, cloud infrastructure, authentication, email delivery, customer support, application distribution, security, analytics where used, AI infrastructure where required, and other technical or operational services.
The information made available to such providers should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant function, subject to applicable contractual, technical, and legal safeguards.
AightLab may also disclose information where required or permitted by law, including where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, comply with court or government orders, investigate fraud, protect the security of its systems, protect users or others from harm, or protect AightLab's legal rights or property.
13. Third-Party Services and Platforms
AightLab may depend on third-party services to provide certain functionality. These may include payment processors, hosting providers, infrastructure providers, email providers, security services, AI technology providers, analytics providers where applicable, application stores, and other technology platforms.
Third-party providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. AightLab does not control the independent privacy practices of third parties, and you should review their policies where appropriate.
When you download or use an AightLab application through a third-party application store or platform, that platform may separately process information relating to your device, purchase, download, account, or application usage under its own policies.
14. Legal and Regulatory Disclosures
AightLab may disclose information where it reasonably believes disclosure is necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, comply with court orders, cooperate with competent government or regulatory authorities, investigate suspected fraud or abuse, enforce our Terms & Conditions, protect the security and integrity of our systems, or protect the rights, property, safety, or interests of AightLab, our users, or others.
Where legally and operationally appropriate, AightLab will seek to limit disclosures to information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
15. Business Transactions
AightLab may, in the future, be involved in a merger, acquisition, investment, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, transfer of business, or other corporate transaction.
If such a transaction affects information associated with AightLab services, relevant information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to applicable law and any required safeguards or notices.
16. Data Security
AightLab takes reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, loss, destruction, or other inappropriate processing.
Depending on the nature of the service, security measures may include access controls, authentication controls, password-protection mechanisms, secure communications, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, logging, security updates, infrastructure protections, and other measures appropriate to the information and the risks associated with its processing.
However, no internet-connected system, software application, database, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. AightLab therefore cannot guarantee absolute protection against every possible security incident, vulnerability, attack, technical failure, or unauthorised event.
If you believe that your AightLab account or personal information has been compromised, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at support@aightlab.com.
17. Data Retention
AightLab retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, including providing services, maintaining accounts, processing transactions, providing customer support, maintaining security, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, complying with legal obligations, enforcing agreements, and protecting legitimate business interests.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, the nature of the service, legal requirements, accounting or tax obligations, security requirements, and other legitimate business considerations.
Information may therefore remain in backups, security records, accounting records, transaction histories, or other systems for a period after an account or service has been closed where continued retention is reasonably necessary or legally required.
When information is no longer reasonably required, AightLab may delete, anonymise, aggregate, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable law and its operational practices.
18. Account Information and User Requests
Where AightLab provides account-management functionality, you may be able to review or update certain information associated with your account, including your name, password, and other account details made available by the relevant service.
If you cannot make a necessary correction or update directly through your account, you may contact support@aightlab.com. For security purposes, AightLab may require reasonable information to verify that the request is being made by the account holder or an authorised person before making account-related changes.
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and current.
19. Privacy Rights and Requests
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances in which AightLab processes your information, you may have rights relating to your personal information. These may include rights to request access to applicable information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion where legally applicable, obtain information regarding relevant processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent and withdrawal is legally available, raise a complaint, and exercise other rights provided by applicable law.
The scope and availability of particular rights may depend on the applicable legal framework, the nature of the information involved, the purpose for which it is processed, and whether any legal exception applies.
India's data-protection framework includes the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and related rules and notifications. The application of particular provisions may depend on their applicable commencement dates and the circumstances of the processing. AightLab will seek to comply with the requirements applicable to its processing activities at the relevant time.
20. How to Submit a Privacy Request
For privacy questions, requests concerning your personal information, account-related privacy matters, or other data-protection concerns, contact:
AightLab Privacy & Support
Email: support@aightlab.com
When contacting us, please provide sufficient information for us to understand and review your request. For security reasons, we may need to verify your identity or account ownership before providing account information or carrying out certain requests.
AightLab will handle legitimate requests within the time period required by applicable law.
21. Withdrawal of Consent
Where AightLab relies on consent as the legal basis for a particular processing activity, you may be able to withdraw that consent, subject to applicable law.
Withdrawing consent does not invalidate processing that was lawfully carried out before the withdrawal. In addition, certain information may continue to be processed where another lawful basis permits or requires the processing, including circumstances involving contractual obligations, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or the enforcement of applicable agreements.
Where a particular feature genuinely requires information for its operation, withdrawing consent may affect your ability to use that feature.
22. Children and Minors
AightLab's services are intended primarily for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
AightLab does not knowingly intend to permit independent account creation or paid use by children below the applicable age requirement without appropriate parental, guardian, or other legally authorised involvement where permitted by law.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to AightLab in circumstances that should not have occurred, please contact support@aightlab.com so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action where required.
23. International Processing and Storage
Although AightLab operates from India, certain technology and service providers used by AightLab may operate in other countries.
As a result, information associated with AightLab services may, where applicable, be processed or stored outside India or outside the country from which you access the service.
Where such processing occurs, AightLab will seek to use appropriate contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards and comply with applicable legal requirements relating to such processing.
24. Marketing Communications
Where permitted by applicable law, AightLab may send promotional or marketing communications about products, services, updates, offers, or other relevant business information.
Where available, you may be provided with an option to unsubscribe from promotional communications.
However, AightLab may continue to send communications that are necessary to operate or protect your account, including purchase confirmations, subscription information, password-reset messages, security notices, important service announcements, legal notices, and other essential transactional communications.
25. Customer Support Communications
When you contact AightLab support, we may retain information relating to your support request in order to investigate the issue, provide assistance, maintain appropriate service records, prevent abuse, and improve customer support.
Support information may include your name, account information, email address, product information, transaction details, technical information, error descriptions, screenshots or other information voluntarily provided by you, and communications exchanged with our support team.
For your own security, you should never send passwords, authentication codes, payment-card security codes, or other sensitive credentials to AightLab through ordinary support messages.
26. Account Termination and Retention
If your AightLab account is cancelled, suspended, or terminated, AightLab may retain certain information associated with the account for as long as reasonably necessary or legally required.
Termination of an account does not necessarily mean that every record associated with that account is immediately deleted. Certain information may need to be retained for legal compliance, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, security investigations, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, or other legitimate purposes.
Where information is no longer reasonably necessary and there is no legal or legitimate reason to retain it, AightLab may delete, anonymise, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with its retention practices.
27. Privacy and Security of Your Own Information
You are responsible for taking reasonable precautions to protect your own information when using AightLab.
You should use a strong and unique password, avoid sharing your credentials, protect the devices through which you access AightLab, keep your operating system and applications reasonably updated, and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through support or other communications.
AightLab will not ask you to provide your password through ordinary support communications.
28. Links to Other Websites and Services
AightLab may contain links or integrations that direct you to services operated by third parties.
These third parties may have their own privacy policies, terms, security practices, and data-processing arrangements. AightLab is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party services that it does not control.
You should review the privacy policy of a third-party service before providing information directly to that service.
29. Changes to This Privacy Policy
AightLab may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our products, services, technology, business operations, security practices, legal requirements, regulatory requirements, or data-processing practices.
The current version will be published on this page and will display its applicable Last Updated date.
Where a change is material and applicable law requires additional notice, AightLab may provide additional notification through appropriate channels.
You should review this Privacy Policy periodically so that you remain informed about how AightLab processes information.
30. Governing Law

Subject to those mandatory rights, disputes relating to this Privacy Policy may be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
